TDG Basics - Please Read

When was the last time you had 75 people at your house for a party? It can be crowded and chaotic. Take a minute to read what follows so we can all be on the same page.

*My address is 465 Growlers Gulch Road. Driveway on the left. Bike rim and chain rings hanging from a tree on the left. I will hang some balloons on the mailbox.

*Be ready to ride at 8:45. You will need to connect with your ride guide. All ride guides will leave from my house. If you plan to meet your guide at the top of the GG pavement or at the top of the Power Line Hill, it is your responsibility to text him/her to make this clear. Text numbers available here. (NOTE: Kim’s group will leave at 8:30. Do not be late.)

*If you have certain trails you’d like to be included in your group’s route, contact your guide to let him/her know.

*No, it is not okay to bring a friend who is not on the sign-up list.

*Parking will be at a premium. Unless you are one of the first to arrive, there will be no spaces at the top. Find a place to park along my driveway or along the spur road on the right just past my driveway.

*Plan to be out for four hours (9 to 1). No food will be served before 1 or 2. Bring a lawn chair, beverages, and snacks.

*The after-party is a potluck. We will provide dogs, buns, condiments, utensils, and plates. You are responsible for adding something to the table: salad, dessert, casserole, whatever. Store-purchased items are fine.

*Refrigerator space will be very limited. If you are bringing food that needs to be refrigerated, please bring it in an ice chest.

*If your dog is well-behaved it is welcome to join the ride. However, all dogs must be kept in vehicles during the after-party.
