Andy Plassmeyer, his sons and some friends came out for a ride at Growlers recently. They were grateful to be able to hook one of the kids up with a ride from the Bikes for Beginners fleet.
Check the vid. Near the end you will see Andy go over the bars on the second Road Trail. Asked to explain the incident, Plassmeyer attributed the endo to mud and “a complete lack of skill.”
Very cool, the kids looked like they were having a great time. My MBVI (Mountain Biking Video Investigation) reveals the bike making a right turn while the rider decided to go straight.
Great observation Kelley. Except the bike made a left turn. The good news is that it didn’t hurt at all. Not even the next day. The kids had a blast. And even though we didn’t ride the coolest stuff at GG it was one of the better days of riding I’ve had. Period. The kids were stoked even though it was crap weather and sloppy. It felt really good to introduce some youngin’s to the sport. Thanks GGR! Without the cindercone it wouldn’t have been possible.
